Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to our Cooker Campaign. We are delighted to announce that we have reached our target of £9,500. This was from money raised on our online Campaign page and other donations we have received. We couldn’t have done this without your support.

Our cooker urgently needs replacing as it is struggling with the demands of supplying around 85 homeless and vulnerable people a day with cooked meals.  Since July 2021, it has cooked over 68,000 hot meals and helped us welcome 1,700 people through our doors. With the cold of winter soon approaching it is vital that we get a new cooker in as soon as possible as the demand for meals increases. Our target amount of £9500 not only covers the cost of a suitable cooker but also the installation fees.

Sanctus Café is a safe and warm environment where homeless and vulnerable individuals feel comfortable to come, spend the day and request help. We welcome anyone in the community who had fallen on hard times and is in need of food and support and are open Monday to Saturday, including over the Christmas holidays.
