OUR CORE VALUES
We are the only day centre in mid-Essex catering for this client group, helping people 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Sanctus is currently open 6 days a week (November to February) and 5 days over the warmer months. We hope to expand our reach in the future, funding permitting.
HELPING US
We can’t accomplish this on our own. There are a variety of ways in which you can contribute to our efforts to support the homeless and vulnerable.
OUR SPONSORS
Thank you to our partners and sponsors for the kind donations and support. Your aid allows us to provide the best services and care to the most vulnerable people in the community.
Waterhouse Business Park has chosen Sanctus as their charity of the year 2023.
LOOKERS of Dukes Park Chelmsford are supporting Sanctus with the arrival of our Brand New Ford Transit van.
We are extremely grateful to LOOKERS for such a fantastic donation to our Charity, the need for a van has been on our list for a long time, and having the use of our own van means we can organise collections of food, supplies and help service users move home without having to rely on the good nature of people we know who have vans.
This has made all our lives much easier and we cannot thank LOOKERS enough.

Awards
We are very proud of our work and love it when the community sees the value of what we do. We are honoured to have received a few awards:
Sanctus was one of the chosen charities by the Mayor of Chelmsford from 2020 – 2022.
Sanctus was successful in the new HOPE (Heroes of Pandemic Essex) category at the Pride of Essex Awards 2020, this was due to the work we did during the pandemic for homeless and/or vulnerable people in the community.
We were also Highly Commended in the TOP (Team of Pride) Category which is awarded to a team or group of people who have made a positive difference to the community.
We are proud to have received The King’s Award for Voluntary Service.
